Most mountains are very close to or are touching clouds, which causes a fog and reduced visibility.
The only known moon to have a dense atmosphere is Titan, the largest moon of Saturn and 2nd largest moon in the solar system. At the surface the atmospheric pressure is 2 to 4 times the surface pressure on Earth. The atmosphere is between 500 and 1000 km thick. It consists of 98.4 % nitrogen, and 1.6% hydrocarbons such as ethane, methane and many others.
The atmosphere consists of 5 layers: the troposphere, which we live in; followed by stratosphere, mesosphere, thermosphere and exosphere. Air pressure at any of these layers is typically caused by hydrostatic pressure, defined as P = hpg, where P is the pressure, h is the height or depth of fluid, and g is the gravitational acceleration. In simple context, my physics lecturer once explained to me: the reason why we live under an atmospheric pressure of 1 bar is simply because there is a column of air above us. As we move upwards (e.g. in an airplane or on top of a mountain), the height of this column is reduced, thus the atmospheric pressure is less. Therefore, the first layer of atmosphere (or the lowest layer) will experience the highest air pressure.
Water consumption will be reduced
The orbit gets larger
The increasing number of core electrons serve to "shield" the outer electrons from the positive charges in the nucleus. Thus, the effective nuclear charge (Zeff) is reduced.
planting more trees and by planting them in rows
by planting vegetation
By reforestation, planting all the forests again. By afforestation, planting forests where there were none before.
The amount of ozone has reduced. It is due to CFC.
Erosion can be reduced by planting plants that have roots. This helps because the roots in the plants hold the ground in place.
Diminishing returns.
By relying more extensively on fossil fuels. The hell with global warming!Seriously, the use of nuclear energy needs to be expanded, not reduced.
end of the cold war
Smog can be reduced by laws that restrict chemical factories from what can be released into the atmosphere. Additionally, smog can be reduced by properly maintaining vehicles and the creation of stricter emissions standards.
Mudflows and lahars can be prevented or greatly reduced by planting deep rooted vegetation in places they might occur.
The effects are a reduced greenhouse phenomenon and a cleaner atmosphere.
