without the moon, earth wouldn't exist because the moon creates tidal waves, with out those, they couldnt of created land and parted them into states and countries.
Because without the Sun, the planets would never have formed, Earth would never have formed, life would never have formed, so you would never have been born, Chris Whitten would never have been born, so wikianswers would never have existed. So we need the Sun for this question to be answered!
Ozone is the one that formed life. Without it life would have been extinct.
No one would know that but it would have to be the first life forms that were created after the earth was formed.
there would be no life on earth because the sun supports life on earth and gives warmth to the living creatures in earth. if the sun was gone, earth would be totally dark and there would be no life there.
a. There would be no volcanic eruptions. b. Water vapor would never have condensed to form the oceans. c. The atmosphere would contain no carbon dioxide. d. The second atmosphere would never have formed.
That depends if the Moon formed and then 'went' or if there never had been one...As the oceans tides on Earth are caused by a combination of the Suns and Moons gravity then the Moon disappeared from orbit for some reason would obviously have an effect on this (and probably the Earths weather systems too). Exactly what this would mean though I'm not sure.if Earth had never had a Moon then that would be quite different! A lot of current thinking is that the tides on the early Earth were mainly responsible for washing nutrients and the chemicals necessary for life from the land masses into the oceans. The Moon, when it was formed, was much closer to the Earth and so the tides were much bigger, often going far inland. Without these tides it is entirely possible that the chemicals for the 'primordial soup' (where the thinking is that life got started) might never have happened! So it's quite possible that No Moon = No Life!
If it stops there will be no life in earth.
It couldn't as it's mass causes it to be spherical. To be like an asteroid, it would have to be the size of an asteroid, and then life would never have started. You would never have been born, and this question would never have existed.
When the Earth was formed, there was no life for a billion years.
14 Herculis B is about 2.77 AU from it's parent star. That would put it at the start of the asteroid belt, beyond the orbit of Mars. Now it is wildly accepted that the asteroid belt is a planet that never was. The gravitational influence of the Sun and Jupiter prevented a planet being made. So if Earth was where 14 Herculis B is - then it would cease to exist because of the gravitational influence. Even "if" Earth was formed, it would be so cold that life would never have started. The planet would still exist but it would be a cold and lonely planet.
normal life. becoming eternal is a fate worse than death...there is never an end to suffering, and the boredom (i'm not being funny here) would drive me to insanity.
No one really knows what would happen because humans have never seen that first hand in reality. But I would imagine that the Earth would look similar to Mars.
