magenta cyan yellow
magenta, yellow, and cyan
white is made of 3 colurs: magenta, cyan and yellow (not really called yellow - but it is yellow.. like how cyan is light blue n magenta is pink)
What they've always taught in school was: the primary triad is red, blue and yellow the secondary triad is orange (red plus yellow), purple (red plus blue) and green (blue plus yellow). In reality, the primary colors are NOT red, blue and yellow. They are cyan, magenta and yellow. If you use these colors as your primaries, the secondary triad is red (magenta plus yellow), green (cyan plus yellow) and blue (cyan plus magenta). Red, green and blue are also the primary colors of light, which gives further credence to the fact cyan, magenta and yellow are the primaries--cyan absorbs red light, magenta absorbs green light and yellow absorbs blue light. And finally, I can almost guarantee your printer (assuming it's color) does NOT have red or blue ink in it, but it does have cyan and magenta ink.
Yellow, Cyan, and Magenta.
magenta+cyan+yellow=blackA little more:In subtractive coloration or pigments, combining magenta, cyan and yellow should make black. In additive colors or light, turning the red, green and blue values to zero makes for black -- an absence of light.
Becuase Magenta and cyan light are relfected and yellow is absorbed !
Brown. Here's why. Green is a combination of yellow and cyan (aka blue). Red is close to magenta; it is magenta with a little yellow mixed in. Thus green + red is a combination of all three primary colors: magenta, yellow and cyan. The combination would thus lead to a brownish color, since browns are what you tend to get when you mix all three primary colors. Short primer. Magenta, yellow and cyan (blue) are primary colors. Orange is an equal mix of magenta and yellow. Green is an equal mix of yellow and cyan. Red is a mix of orange and magenta.
It does depend on whether you are mixing light or ink; for light blue is a primary colour so you can't mix other colours to create blue. For printing, a cyan, magenta, yellow, black model is used and to create blue you mix cyan and magenta.
cyan, magenta, yellow
I think the only way is to add water,I don't believe adding yellow would be the answerAnswerAdding yellow would turn cyan to green and magenta to red. My printer uses "light magenta" and "light cyan" inks which use different pigments than the full-strength magenta and cyan, maybe you could add some of those to your cartridge when you refill it.
The Epson 2200 printer uses Ultrachrome Ink and the following colours are available. Photo Black, Matta Black, Light Black, Cyan, Light Cyan, Magenta, Light Magenta and Yellow
