The circuits have nothing in common. The dome light works whether or not the key is on, the radio only works with the key on.

Check the light switch. Resistor coil for dimming may be broken. Dome light and everything else worked on mine but the light switch was broken at the start of the resistor coil.

No. The lens diffuses the light and a bare bulb is not legal

The tail light/brake light bulb has two filaments. If one of the filaments is broken, you will get either only tail lights, or brake lights. If a new bulb doesn't work, then you have a broken wire or bad connection in your plug-in.

Probably because the filament in the light bulb is broken or possibly there is a bad contact some where,
