Another bird that has been known to survive on Everest is the Chough, this bird has been seen as high as 7,920 meters.

When it comes to plants on Mount Everest it is a slightly different story. Because of the harsh conditions and the fact that practically everything is frozen, it is no surprise that very few plants are designed to survive and thrive in such conditions. However, one plant that has been found on Mount Everest is the Allium Hybrid.
