the band that, perhaps more than any other, helped propel rock music into mainstream America was The Beatles.
Breakfast With the Beatles is a long-running syndicated radio program in the US, featuring the music of the Beatles and stories about them.
Amazing music and "Long" hair
Kind of. There is footage of that whole song in the Let It Be film.
Yes. Apple exists today as the licensing agent for Beatles-related products, including previously-unreleased recordings. Apple Corps was involved in a long legal battle with Apple Inc. over trademarking; one of the reasons the Beatles' music is not yet available on iTunes. (They have since settled the suit, and begun negotiations to license the Beatles' music for download.)
He wishes. Manson was never a part of the Beatles. He was obcessed with their music, especially the White Album. He thought the band was sending him messages through the music. That's what happens to your brain on drugs. To make a long story short, the Beatles and Manson had never met.
All the Beatles had normal sized ears.
The Beatles' Long Tall Sally was created on 1964-05-11.
The Beatles were first to do a lot of things. People were attracted to them partly because they were English and different from American bands. Not to mention they had been together for years and they had a tight sound and when they covered some of the American music, everyone got a new look at the pop culture. They started writing their own music and through their originality a new sound happened. They were so sucessful, that in order to get noticed, other bands felt that they needed to fashion their music after to the sound of the Beatles. The clothes they wore influenced everybody. Bell bottoms were in, and people started cutting their hair in the same style. It was fashionable to take after the Beatles. the effect of the beatles is everlasting on Music. Their sound was original and their look was different, this led to the outbreak of freedom during the sixties. Without the beatles there wouldn't be metal, The Song "Helter Skelter" marked the beginning of Metal which would become more popular in the eighties. It was one of the first rays of sunshine after Kennedy died and it was a needed distraction for the cold war, and considering they had 27 #1 hits that had to have inspired some later bands, it could be anyone because they were not known for their huge guitar and drum solos, if you want to be like The Beatles you need solid songwriting, descent I'm putting emphasis on descent they don't have to be perfect, you need long hair, have your guitars up to your chest, and the drummer needs blisters on his fingers
People mostly remember the days the Beatles were popular for drugs, getting high, and running around shirtless. Other things that were popular during the early days of Beatle popularity are guys with long hair, bell bottom and hip-hugger jeans, tie-dyed shirts, the expression "groovy," Camaros, Mustangs, Corvettes, Firebirds, drive-in restaurants, and drive-in movies.
The Beatles had a very vast variety of music. The had fast, upbeat songs (like the song "Penny Lane") and, on the other hand they can have very slow song (like the son "Yesterday"). Since the Beatles were making music for a very long time, and their music wasn't specifically slow or fast, it depends on what Beatles song you are referring to.
The Beatles split up LONG ago. 2 of them are dead. John Lennon got shot in front of his hotel, and George Harrison dies of cancer. Ringo Starr, (drummer) and Paul McCartney (bass player/ singer) are still alive and continue to write music, but they are not considered "The Beatles" anymore.
Well the Beatles were a band from around 1962-1970
