Jose Rizal is the national hero of the Philippines because he made a book that is all about the slavery of the filipino under the hands of the Spaniards and Japanese and the book is sent to the king of spanish and when the king receive he give a punishment to the conqueror that makes them leave the Philippines and after they are gone the pilipinon people are free from any form of slavery that makes them peceful,so because of Jose rizal Philippines is a free country and conqueror is not allowed at all that's why he is the national hero of the Philippines.
