He thinks that he is a bad person because he has-
Darryl called Ponyboy "little buddy" It made him feel good because he usually only calls Sodapop that.
I don't know how far you are into the book/movie, but there are some violent events in the whole story. I think he's having doubts on if he made the right choices. You'll just have to wait & see for yourself!
They both cut their hair, and Ponyboy bleached his.
Johnny's note to Ponyboy was important for his healing because it showed Johnny's care and gratitude towards Ponyboy. It made Ponyboy feel valued and strengthened their bond, providing him with comfort and support during a difficult time. Reading the note also allowed Ponyboy to understand Johnny's thoughts and feelings before his death, helping him process his grief and come to terms with the tragedy.
In the book The Outsiders, Ponyboy is thinking that he wished he lived in a different culture where there wasn't stereotypes or classes that people were made to fit in to. That everyone could be seen as human beings.
Pony Boy is focused on most throughout the novel and therefore the author has wanted us to go along with his values and beliefs. The protagonist is usually the main character, and the main character in the Outsiders is Pony Boy.
First everyone were friends and then they made their own gang
Ponyboy doen't like the people in the blue mustang because the were the same people that beat up Johnny (I think) and made him cry (which he never does) So it would only be natural for Ponyboy to feel anger when he sees the blue mustang. It also depends on when he hated the people in the blue mustang. The first example that I gave was when he and Johnny ran away. There was also the other time when the people in the blue mustang, Cherry was one of them. I hope this helped, 1st question answered :)
Sofkee, a dish made out of hominy and meat.
Cherry explains to Ponyboy that there was a side of Bob that not everybody saw that made you want to follow him. Ponyboy knew that she saw this in Dally, and that was why she was afraid to see him and love him.
Ponyboy Michael Curtis is the youngest among the Curtis brothers and also among the gang of greasers. His parents died in a car wreck and he lives with his two older brothers, Darrel and Sodapop Patrick Curtis. Ponyboy loves reading books and watching movies and sunsets. Ponyboy is very intellegent. He is in high school at the age of 14. Ponyboy is really close with his brother Sodapop and Johnny. He hates Steve (Sodapop's bestfriend) because of him treating Ponyboy as a kid. Ponyboy has brown, almost redish hair and has green eyes. He keeps his hair back and greased up, and he is very proud of it. But later on in the book, his hair will be bleached by Johnny Cade so that they will be disguised. Ponyboy really likes the red-head Soc cheerleader, Cherry Valance but knows they are not meant to be. Ponyboy lives in Tulsa, Oklahoma and goes to Will Rogers high school. Ponyboy has no manners but is really nice and sweet. It depends on the person. Ponyboy does not really get along with his older brother Darrel Curtis. Ponyboy Curtis (in the movie) is played by Christopher Thomas Howell.
If Darry didn't have to take on two jobs he could have gone to college. He works to support his brothers. He was a decent student in school, and great football player. Being a greaser means that your poor. If you go to college on a scholarship you're not viewed as the poor kid. He would have been the talented guy that made something of himself. If Darry went to college he could have gotten a career and had the money to consider himself a "soc."
