The following are connected to the "midbrain": tectum, tegmentum, ventricular mesocoelia, cerebral peduncles. The "midbrain" is made up of Gyrus (brain ridges) surrounded by one or more sulci (brain fissures or depressions). The structure of the brain is made up of Neurons.

Neurons are made up of the following regions: Dendrite, soma, Nucleus, Axon, Myelin sheath, Node of Ranvier, Schwann cell, Axon Terminal. Consisting of similar materials as most cells (DNA...etc).
