Your local card store will have basic land cards that you can purchase or trade, they may even give you some depending on how many you need. Many, many online stores can sell you basic land cards. Other players may have spare land cards that they can part with.
yes but it would be pointless
Yes. You should be able to buy spare land from your local card store, or online.
Yes of course. You may build a deck with as many colors as you want. It becomes increasingly difficult to win with such a deck. You will likely find that it is difficult to have the land you need for the cards you have in your hand, but it is certainly possible. it is best to stick to one or two colors, with 1 color, i go 40 cards with 20 land , and for 2 color deck i go 40 cards with 22 land, 11 of each ..............in my opinion white is the best color in magic
Yes they are. Regardless of the colour of mana they produce, a land is still a colourless permanent unless an external source is giving it a colour.
The Coldsnap land 'Dark Depths' produces a Marit Lage token.
Have you tried reading the rulebook? Here is a link to it if you haven't. http://www.wizards.com/magic/rules/EN_Magic_Basic_Rulebook_20090710.pdf Magic: the Gathering is extraordinarily complicated, but basically, players use "land" cards to play creatures and other spells, in order to attempt to reduce his or her opponent's life total from 20 to 0 ("life points" would be a more accurate term to use, but many players dislike the reference to Yu-Gi-Oh!). For more detailed information, the rulebook is the best source for information.
Landwalk is a term that appears within a cards rules text as "[type]walk," where [type] is usually a land type (Plains, Island, Swamp, Mountain, Forest or Non-basic) but can be the card type land, any land type, or any combination. Landwalk is an evasion ability. Meaning a creature with landwalk is unblockable as long as the defending player controls at least one land with the specified type.
Island-walk A Land-Walk ability(Example:Swamp-walk, Mountain-walk) If opponent controls an island this creature is unblockable. Creatures with land-walk abilities can not block each other.
Magic Set Editor: see link GiMP: see link (although you will need to download templates to use Adobe CS (much the same as GiMP, except Adobe is not a free download) Alternativley you can buy a load of commons or land and use an ink eraser or just stick different pictues to the front of the cards. If you have the cards in sleeves the will be easier to use. NB: It should be noted that proxy cards are not allowed to be used in DCI sanctioned tournaments. There are some tournaments where proxies are allowed. Always check with the tournament co-ordinator or tournament judges before presuming proxies are allowed.
The act of sacrificing in magic the gathering has to do with either a creature, land, enchantment or artifact. these are known as "permanents" as, once cast, they remain in play until destroyed, removed or returned to their owner's hand. some cards, (Yawgmoth Demon and Grave Pact for example) require a player or players to sacrifice a permanent at the beginning or end of a turn, either to their benefit or detriment, depending on the details outlined by the card demanding a sacrifice. A player or player then puts the required permanent into his or her graveyard at the specified time. Sacrificing, as a rule, only refers to cards in play (permanents). when a card demands that a player give up life, the terminology is "pay (variable) life." when a card demands that a player give up cards from his or her hand, the terminology is "discard (variable) card(s) from your hand."
