Biceps and forearm muscles are used
|The muscles used in a crucifix in gymnastics are your abs and your forearm muscles
Triceps, shoulder muscles, forearm muscles, biceps.
When flexing your arm you would use shoulder muscles, mainly the deltoids and pectoralis major. If you flex your elbow (which most people think means flexing your arm, but is really the forearm), then you would use your biceps, brachialis. and brachioradialis muscles, which would be three muscles, depending on the orientation of the forearm.
The muscles that are used when snapping a football are all in the arm. More specifically, the forearm muscles are heavily used.
Wrist muscles are the main, if not only, muscles used to catch a disc. Some forearm muscle may be used.
Forearm muscles, biceps, deltoids, abdominal muscles, and obliques.
Biceps Brachii is a powerful supinator of the forearm, the Supinator muscle also completes supination of the forearm particularly when the forearm is supinating in a slow and unopposed manor or if the forearm is extended.
The muscles used in gripping strength are those in the forearm and hands. In athletics, gripping strength exercises is measured with a hand grip dynamometer.
Throughout the course of a racquetball match, you use your forearm, arm, shoulder and legs muscles!
The biceps brachii, deltoid (anterior portion), brachioradialis and brachialis are used when you lift a glass to drink from it
Mostly your forearm muscles but also your bicep. A good way to work out your forearm is to sit on a bench with a weight in your hand and curl your wrist up and then let it down. Do that twenty times and do four sets of them with each arm.
Several muscles are used. Biceps brachii for elbow flexion, triceps brachii for elbow extension. Trapezius to raise arm. Deltoid abducts the arm. The pectoralis major allows internal rotation, adduction, and flexion of the arm. The pronator quadratus, pronator teres and supinator all arm forearm muscles that move the wrist. The brachioradialis, brachialis and aconeus are also used.
