What make people good at carving?

I started out with a lock blade knife, carving bars of soap. When you start with wood, try carving an arrow head, but not the skinniness, just the shape. Then, you can make a hot dog cooker, to cook Hot Dogs over the fire. And try to be creative, this is optional, but fun, try to cut in some designs on the side, remember, this is optional. After that, you've learned how to whittle (hot dog stick), and to carve (arrowhead). Just practice, after that, you can make whatever you want! Have fun! By a scout from troop 567 CCC.
