We were having a problem with ours that we would hit the gas and it would surge. Sometimes when we had to gun it a little to cross traffic and such, it would lag badly and not accelerate. In our case we reset the computer by taking the leads off the battery for a few minutes. The battery was a complete pain to get to. It was against the firewall and under a lot of stuff. It took us about 20 minutes to even access it. It did the trick for us though. It could be something else, but the battery trick is at least free and isn't going to hurt anything if it isn't the problem. You'll just have to reset the clock on your stereo. *** You may need to replace your fuel filter. That would be the best and cheapest place to start. If that doesn't help, take it to someone and have a fuel injector treatment done. If even that doesn't help, then most likely it is your fuel pump going bad. *** Drake
