If you do that you'll surely blow that engine up, guaranteed! .
If you don't want the engine to blow up, yes.
Worn piston rings. Incorrect weight engine oil. Gasoline mixed with engine oil. Crankcase overfilled with engine oil.
the valves or rings are allowing compression blow by to enter the crankcase which causes excess pressure that is brought to the carburetor by the breather tube. your engine is getting tired or you have too much oil in the crankcase.
Checking at your local public library for a manual on small engines repair would probably be the easiest way to find B&S and other small engine "blow-up" diagrams and repair guides. Suggestion: If you get the Model and Code numbers from your engine, you might find a manual specific to your engine.
remove plug, use a compresion gauge or put your finger over plug hole, crank engine, if your finger feels like it was being sucked in and then blowen out , its fine, bad compression will give you very little suction, or blow out, could be valves are leaking also,
Lack of oil or water??
How do you blow a engine turbo.
No. Antifreeze is added to the engine cooling system to help the engine run cooler and keep the water from freezing in the winter. A refrigerant (also called freon) is what makes the a/c blow cold air.
Usually these smaller engine dont use fuel filters. If there is one though it will be located on the hose that goes from under the gas tank before it gets to the carb. They come in various version. Usually they look like a disk looking thing with a hose going into it and another hose going from it to the carb. Just remove the hose clamps and replce it or blow it out. It depends on the type it is. Good luck.
There are several ways to blow up a cars engine. If your car loses all its oil and you don't shut off the engine you could blow it. You could blow it by over revving the engine for long periods of time. If the engine doesn't have water in it it could run hot and quit.
Blow by is caused by internal engine problems. You need a new engine.
