The cells multiple by copying their DNA by splitting thir chromosomes in half. They take over healthy cells and infect their DNA then they split in half creating 2 cancer cells.
Cancer happens when cells that are not normal grow and spread very fast. Normal body cells grow and divide and know to stop growing. Over time, they also die. Unlike these normal cells, cancer cells just continue to grow and divide out of control and don't die when they're supposed to.
Another way of putting it is that normal cells sustain damage or alteration to their DNA and somehow promote themselves to become stem cells. Stem cells can produce organs and in this case, the organs produced are tumors. As for what causes the DNA changes, it could be free radical damage, UV exposure, injury, exposure to certain chemicals, aging, and various other possibilities.
A cancerous cell is one which is irregular in growth. The DNA within the cell does not match up with the DNA of other cells from the cell type. Cancerous cells udergo mitosis at an altered rate and continually cause damage by causing organs to malfunction.
There are many factors that cause a cell to be cancer cell. For example, sun exposure, ionising radiation can damage the DNA by producing free radicals in the normal cell, leading to mutation. Mutated cells will have unregulated proliferative potential, and eventually leading to cancer.
Eating bbq meat may also increase the risk of cancer because of toxic compounds (heterocyclic amine) in the bbq meat causes DNA damage.
A cancerous cell.
Most cancerous tumors are detected at advanced phase of the cell cycle.
Dysplasia

No, sickle cell disease is not cancerous.
Yes
A normal cell turns cancerous when there is damage between a few of the genes that are in control of cell growth. These cells will eventually invade the blood supply and kill the host.
Cancerous cells possess defects that make proteins required for cell growth active and tumor suppressor genes inactive.
