No flame
I tried everything one can do without being a licensed repair man. I checked the circuit breaker, made sure the temp and thermostat were set properly and went to the little gray box by the unit and pulled out the breaker plug and plugged it back in to reset. Nothing worked. Until I considered that my 4 year old had been playing by the unit. I walked back out to the unit to see if it were possible she could have done something. Lo and behold a little red handled valve to turn the gas on and off that could very easily be turned. I called the repair man and asked how to tell if the gas valve were on. Sure enough it was turned off. The handle needs to be in line with the pipe. Now the house is warm again, but not as warm as her butt when I got done with her:-)
Because you set it that way
"Cold" is a relative term, like "high" or "fast". It does exist as a qualitative term but only for comparison. It doesn't exist as a concrete object.
No. Despite the name a cold really has nothing to do with cold weather. A cold is a virus and can only be caught from pathogens. You wouldn't catch a cold even by being in a tanktop and shorts in winter in Canada. You'd start getting numb and probably sneeze, but that's not a cold.
Heat can usually be considered as the energy of motion of atoms and molecules. Heat can flow spontaneously only from warm to cold. Heat can be made to go in the other direction, but only by doing work. So, the simple answer is: from warm to cold.
The evaporator coil is probably frozen. Shut off the outdoor unit and run the fan only until it thaws out. Then call the service man and tell him what you did, there is no point in paying him to stand around while the ice melts and there is nothing he can diagnose until the ice is gone.

If the furnace only blows cold air the pilot light may be out. It may also be a fuse that has blown. However, you may need to contact a licensed electrician to find the problem.
ruud furnace only blows cold air, no heat
it may blow cold air due to the fact that the heat anticipator on your thermostat may be set to long. you can change useing your owners manual for your thermostat but you should have a service tech do it
What type of furnace do you have?electric
Sounds like there is a damper closed somewhere.
why does ac blow warm air? why does ac blow warm air?
Bad thermostat
Your heater will blow cold air only.
Thermostat and/or heater core may be defective
check your coolant level
To be honest i have no idea! I only think tht they grow in cold areas because the cold makes them more juicer, where the sun makes them hard and dry... that's only wat i think
