Universal stories are stories that you will find in any culture, resonate deeply with human motivations and convey a complex of meanings. Examples include creation and flood myths to fairy tales such as "Cinderella." A story can be made universal in several different ways and all to me are quite interesting. Three main ways that makes a story universal would have to be crossing over cultures inside of the story, The universal stories which resonate within the human core contain archetypes, which are symbols or energetic imprints that exist in our psyches. They are dynamic, living forms of energy that come through us and shape who we are and what roles we will play out in our lives. Archetypes are elemental forces, recurring personality patterns which play a vital role in the creation of the world and the human mind itself. The ancients called them elemental spirits. The term archetypes comes from the Greek word archetypes, meaning "first of its kind." Archetypes are unconscious psychic structures, core images that represent psychological dynamics. When these cosmic patterns enter the conscious mind, they do so in the form of images and figures. The way that archetypes actually help make a story universal is because it can use morals found in another culture or a way of writing found in another culture which helps give it some cultured diversity involvement.

A story becomes universal when it addresses themes and experiences that are relatable to people across different cultures and time periods. It often taps into fundamental human emotions, values, and conflicts that resonate with a wide audience, allowing readers or viewers to see themselves reflected in the characters and their journeys. Additionally, universal stories are often characterized by their ability to transcend specific cultural or societal contexts, making them timeless and relevant to a broad range of audiences.
