ribosomes
Newly synthesized proteins are transported from the nuclear membrane to other parts of the cell through the endoplasmic reticulum. The endoplasmic reticulum is a flattened and highly-folded organelle that lies near the nucleus in a eukaryotic cell.
After the proteins have passed through all the tubing the smooth endoplasmic reticulum in the cell, they will be packaged in a vesicle and transported to the Golgi apparatus or another part of the cell (depending on their purpose).
endoplasmic reticulum
The ER, or Endoplasmic Reticulum, is a network of passageways, or tunnels, through the cytoplasm that allows substances to pass through. Rough ER - Endoplasmic Reticulumcovered with ribosomes, giving it a rough appearance.
Absorption occurs when intact proteins are transported across the villus epithelium. This process occurs through either diffusion or active transport.

Proteins can be transported within enclosed sacs called vessicles. These vessicles are essentially composed of a lipid bilayer. The enclose the protein after synthesis and take them to their destination. Proteins can also be transported on molecular machines that travel within cells along the cytoskeletal structure A third way proteins are transported is through the inner wall of the endoplasmic reticulum that connects the nucleus and the cell membrane
After proteins get modified in the Endoplasmic Reticulum, they are transported through the golgi apparatus where they get packaged into vesicles to late be secreted out of the cell or to be used within the cell.

ribosomes make proteins and the endoplasmic reticulum transports materials through the cell
the proteins travel through the cell by the endoplasmic reticulum(ER).
http://pathmicro.med.sc.edu/mhunt/RNA-HO.htm Transmembrane proteins are made on ribosomes bound to the endoplasmic reticulum. They are inserted into the endoplasmic reticulum membrane as they are made, glycosylated in the endoplasmic reticulum and pass through the Golgi body where substantial modification of the carbohydrate chains occurs. They are then transported, in vesicles, to the appropriate cell membrane; in the case of vesicular stomatitis virus, this is the plasma membrane ( hope it helps this is what i wrote on my worksheet ) gook luck!! kadie :-)
The Endoplasmic Reticulum is responsible for the synthesis of protiens and lipids, as well as detoxifies poisions in the cell. The Golgi body (complex) packages substances and makes them ready to be shipped out of the cell.
