Loud instruments are the brass horns and electric guitars... soft is harmonica and klimba and glockenspeil.
When you bang something soft the sound will be soft and when you bang something hard the sound will be loud. The same with talking, if you talk loudly the sound will be loud and when you talk quietly the sound will be soft.
Yes, some continuous loud sounds are related to hypertension (high blood pressure). In addition, sounds outside the audible range can make some people nauseous, etc., even if they are not all that loud. Loud sounds if sudden, sharp and loud enough, may damage your ear drums. An loud sounds experienced over a long enough period of time can damage your hearing.
My thoughts
Some of the objects that make soft sounds include the soap, wringing hands, moist lips and the gentle breeze.
Scream, bang, crash, etc.
loud purring and rolling meows

The best music to study with is soft instrumental music. Anything loud, or with vocals, makes you distracted because your brain will try to figure out what the singer is saying.
A loud noise of some kind, but what kind and from where?
Some people pass gas loud because they push it out hard.
