im trying to make a firecracker since in my state Massachusetts theyre illegal (so yes im being illegal) but i cant buy them so im making one. i can make a fuse out of a rubber band which ive done or some other material i have, but i need to know what makes a sound really loud when i light it. also would popcorn pellets work? or a paintball? don't delete this and please let me know your answer :) PS:don't worry ill have adult supervision

yes, they make a loud roaring noise.
I'm not sure but it can transfer into heat and sound energy, ill check it up but im pretty sure about my answer... It can also be transfered into radiant, or light energy... example: When a nuke( nueclear energy) hits the groun, it makes a loud BOOM!(sound) and it makes fire(heat energy), and then the fire glows(light energy).
