thicker strings
Orchestral string instruments in order of pitch (from highest to lowest) are as follows: Violin Viola Cello Double Bass So the Violin produces higher pitched notes than the Double Bass.
Double Bass. its just a bass but the call it a double* so it is not mixed up with the bass guitar.
The double bass is called so because it is the largest and lowest-pitched instrument in the string family, providing a "double" or deeper bass sound compared to other string instruments.
The double bass is about 50-95 years old.
The fretboard of a stand-up double bass has a rounded face, whereas fretted bass guitars have a flat fretboard. So there is no good way to install frets on a stand-up double bass.
bass like deep water more because for every million water molecules, if they are at least 49 ft. deep, there is one single swag molecule. The bass need this to survive, so, they usually are deeper than that.
The double bass is said to belong to the violin family, and in general, wide terms, this is so. However, the viola and double bass have much more in common than either have with the violin, and if you find a recording of the bass being played in its highest ranges, it is easy to mistake it for a viola. So for general purposes, it can be said that the double bass is a member of the violin family, but it is really a member of the viola family.
I'm guessing it's because the instrument plays not one octave below middle c but two octaves. The double bass is a transposed instrument. By that I mean the sound the bass makes is one octave lower than what is shown on the bass clef. So I just assume double bass to equate to two octaves below.
brass mainly eg trombone sax and all that but there are some string instruments that do like a cello or double bass but there rather deep as well so main brass and all so percussion instruments like drums and the piano. but most instruments can be played loud if u want them to be or as quiet as u want them to be if u mean loud as in loud then mainly brass and percussion but if u mean deep cello and double bass
Tuba, sousaphone, and things with "bass" or "contra" in the name: bass, Bass Clarinet, contrabass Clarinet, contrabassoon, etc. "Bass" means it plays the bass line, and "contra" means it's so big it has to double back on itself.
Less weight on the bow.You can turn the hairs of the bow on their side slightly so not so much hair is touching the strings.Bowing further away from the bridge (or closer to the fingerboard) can help. The Double Bass is actually one of the quieter members of the string family so it is easier to make quiet notes on the Bass than the Violin for example.
The colorado river is very deep due to its location at the grand canyon, which makes the river deep.
