Mercury is opaque to visible light because its electrons are tightly bound to the atoms, which makes it difficult for them to absorb and re-emit light energy. This lack of free electrons interacting with the light leads to poor light transmission, resulting in opacity.
A fluorescent light uses electricity to create ultraviolet light in a tube filled with mercury vapor and a phosphor coating. The ultraviolet light interacts with the phosphor coating, causing it to emit visible light, which is what makes the fluorescent light glow.
i had a similair problem its actually the motor mount has been broken or the rubber grommets holding the exhaust in place are getting worn down and need to be replaced!!
1995 Mystique automatic 4 cylinder probably has a Ford CD4E transmission with an internal filter that cannot be changed without a major disassembly of the trans. which makes it impractical if not impossible for a home mechanic or fast lube shop to do. Either get your transmission rebuilt or replaced while you have it out and save yourself some grief.
For obvious reasons between makes and models, this varies.
it could be your coil pack or a short
It is required to make the lamp conduct electricity. And when it does the mercury then radiates ultraviolet lightand this in turn makes the coating inside the lamp glow.Usually white..... but any color is possible.
Sounds like you blew a cylinder in the engine.
Go to AutoZone and ask one of the fellas to come out and "check your check engine light code". They will be able to tell you what the problem code is, as well as re-set your check engine light.
