The moon glows at night because it reflects a lot of light from the sun making it look like it is lit up at night but it truly does not produce any of its own light.
I am pale silver and I glow in the night sky,I am able to be seen by the naked eye.
The moon can be seen in both daylight and the night sky, which depends on the phase of the moon. The moon appears to be brighter and glow in darkness because the level of light in the sky is less than of the moon. One common misconception about the moon is that it produces it's own light - scientists know this is true since it reflects different amounts of sunlight as it orbits the Earth (this is also why the moon appears to "change shape").
Tapetum lucidum
no
No. planets do not glow, they reflect light, like the moon does. The moon does not glow by itself. the light from the sun hits it and reflects and that light is the light we see comign from the moon. The other planets also do this likewise.

What makes a wave a wave? what makes wave is he location of the moon. If the moon is on the other side of the world then is shouldn't be wavey but in night time... it should be wavey!
Well the moon doesn't actully form night on earth. It's the rotation of earth on it's axis that makes day and night.
The sun is what directs the light to the moon whcih makes it shine, and if the moon did not shine we ppl couldn't see at night. :)
The moon revolves around Earth, which makes it seem like it rises, either at day or night.
earthshine
