The Jewish Sabbath, known as Shabbat or Shabbos, is a day of rest. As such, it represents the Hebrews' escape from slavery in Egypt and G-d's Creation of the Universe (since it was the day upon which G-d rested). Many Jews also see it as a sample of what life and the world will be like when the Moshiach (messiah) comes. As it is the first holy day mentioned in the Torah (Jewish Bible) it is often considered to be the most important of the holidays, revered as a bride or queen, with a longer Torah reading than the other days - including Yom Kippur.

As such, Shabbat is held to be of utmost importance by all observant Jews and as such many abide by its laws (one of which prohibits the use of a computer, which means I really shouldn't be answering this question right now). In ancient times, the punishment for breaking Shabbat laws was stoning to death, the most severe of all Jewish punishments, and there is a tradition that if all Jews properly observe Shabbat for just two consecutive weeks, the Moshiach will come.

there is so many reasons why

but first is that its the last day of creation when G-d had finished creation only by resting no work at all

and its a time of joy and happiness for the body and soul

there is a story of shobbas as if the whole week is work, work, work

and the Sabbath is when we relax and take a break with ourselves, family , G-d and friends

there is nothing more amazing than coming home for the week end/shobbas all ready to be rested and refreshed for the week and gazing upon your wife all dressed up in beautiful sabbath cloths and your children all handsome and happy all waiting for their daddy to come home and talk with each other , share love, share questions, and of course learn Torah and get away from our busy lives for a couple of days to rest up and rejoice upon our success of which we've accomplished

know the big ?: Why did G-d need to make a Sabbath;he did not need to rest hes not tired.

The answer to this is that of course hes not tired He did the Sabbath for US humans so that we can get away from our hectic lives and enjoy His creations of Beaty and perfection so that we wont get overwhelmed and we will be happy and all rested up for the new week ahead from the L-rd

Passover is special because it commemorates God having taken us out of Egyptian slavery.

The highlight of Passover is the Seder meal. This meal is of great importance in Judaism. It is a 3325-year old continuous tradition that began on the night of the Exodus from Egypt (see Exodus chapter 12), and is fully detailed in our ancient Oral Traditions (Talmud, chapter Arvei Pesachim).
The Seder meal is one of those occasions, like Yom Kippur and Hanukkah, that Jews all over the world, Orthodox and non-Orthodox alike, observe in common. During the Seder, we keep the essential mitzva and customs of handing Jewish traditions down to the next generation, with the traditional Seder foods and the ceremony of reading the Passover Haggadah which retells the events of the Exodus.
During the Seder meal, there are other traditional foods in addition to the matzah: bitter herbs, wine, parsley, and haroset (a mixture of apples, cinnamon, wine and nuts).

The Sabbath was, is and will remain special because it is a defining feature of Judaism. As Ahad Ha'am (1856-1927) said: "More than Jews have kept Shabbat, Shabbat has kept the Jews." Exodus 20:8, part of the 10 commandments, says "Remember the Sabbath day and keep it holy." This is just one of many commandments about the Sabbath. Exodus 16:23, Exodus 23:12, Exodus 31:13 and 31:15 are just the start, and there are many more. In an enumereation of the holy days in the Jewish calendar, it is usual to put the Sabbath first, counting it as more important than any of the others, although the fast day of Yom Kippur, the Day of Atonement, is itself described as the Sabbath of Sabbaths (Leviticus 16:31 and 23:32).
