The answer for me is very long so I will sum up as best I can why I disbelieve in the existence of God.

1. The roman catholic church (which all Christianity is based off) is nothing more then the largest and richest multinational corporation in the world. Yes, the catholic church has more money then Bill Gates, and does less good with it then Gates does.

2. No religion is in any way original. Every modern religion was built by taking pieces of older religions and hap hazardly throwing them together. (christianity's virgin birth, son of god, jonah eaten by a whale, all were found in earlier relgions and incorporated in the early days of christianity)

3. If you actually read any religious text from cover to cover, word for word, there are a lot of disturbing things included. In The Bible for instance, God lays down the "laws of slavery" including that only a jew may ever be freed from such bondage. Or in another section God tells his followers to lay in wait beside a rode while the neighboring village is holding a festival to waylay women on their way there and "take them as wives" because there are not enough women for all the men.

4. The simple problem of omnipotence. If god can do "ANYTHING" then can he create a rock so heavy that even he cannot lift it? If he can, then he's not omnipotent because there is a limit on how much he can lift, and if he cannot, he's not omnipotent because there is a limit on how much he can lift.

I'll stop here before I write a whole book. I've barely touched on the detail involved in each of these points, but they are the biggest points that drive me away from religion.

To believe in a god is to suspend rational thinking Agree or Disagree?

People who already disbelieve in God's existence believe it to be so. People who do believe in God believe it not to be so. People who believe in the one true God of the Bible would agree that to believe in 'a god' just any god, would also involve a 'suspension of rational thinking' as well as other things consequent upon that. Rational thinking does not automatically, as some assume, cause one to disbelieve in God. For example Johannes Keppler, Galileo, and Newton all believed in God. In our own day Dr. Damadian, the inventor and patent holder of MRI, which saves lives, is a believer in the personal God of the Bible. No-one would fairly suggest he is therefore not rational. Disbelief in either God or gods is a personal belief choice to which all are welcome.

Why do people insist on voicing their opinion on the existence of God when it wasn't asked?

Many Christians believe they have a duty to talk about their belief in the existence of God. Even when people believe, not in the existence of God but in the existence of other gods, some Christians insist on voicing their opinion that he exists. Of course, on a level playing field, those who do not believe in the existence of God have an equal duty to express their beliefs.

If Satan or hell didn't exist in the first place will the people still worship GOD?

Consider for a moment that empirical evidence existed that either proved or disproved God's or Satan's existence. You would no longer have the freedom to believe or disbelieve. It would no longer be a matter of faith but a matter of fact. There is an irony that God and Satan have an equivalent vested interest in our absolute knowing. If there were undisputable proof of the existence of either, then you would have to choose which side of the fence you want to be on. As it stands, this lack of proof is part of God's plan if you believe that life is a test for the afterlife.

Are miracles still needed to believe god or goddesses or deities?

Many people will actually see miracles as more of a hindrance than a help for the case for the existence of God, and therefore a lot of believers will actually not believe in miracles. This is because if God is capable of performing miracles, some of these are seen as mundane compared to the good that could be performed with such a power. For example, questions such as why God showed a vision of the Virgin Mary but didn't stop the holocaust can be raised. Therefore, it's actually often more advantageous to disbelieve miracles if you want to argue for the existence of God.

Is god proven real?

There is no proof for or against a "god" or his or her existence. What you believe and not believe all comes down to faith.
