could be a number of things the fuel pump usually goes out on these trucks. You should get the fuel pressure tested. A bad plug or even a plug wire not being properly connected could do this. You should also check out the rotor bug under the distributor this may cause it also if it is bad or corroded. just a few things to do before getting too serious. meaning you could have a leak inside the engine dripping on the plugs. your distributor gear could be warn also causing your timing to be off.
