That would be the big man upstairs, God.
Not in reality. But may someone went out of milky way through dreams
They are not. The Milky Way is a galaxy, the constellation Centaurus is just a man made visual representation of something, and bears no relation to a physical entity.
The "Milky Way" is called that because on a very dark night, it looks like a river of milk spilled across the sky. It's really quite noticeable, but here in our brightly lit cities, it can be difficult to see.The name goes back many centuries; we don't know who thought of it, but it was probably a dairy farmer.
The Milky Way and 16 other galaxies compose the local group.
We know the names of lots of galaxies--that is, the names we give them. I'm sure you're most familiar with the Milky Way Galaxy. You are here. Other well-known galaxies include the Andromeda Galaxy, which is our next-galaxy neighbor, and the Sombrero Galaxy, which resembles a sombrero.
The milky way is a unique galaxy in several ways: 1. It's the only known galaxy to contain life 2. It's one of only four galaxies discovered that form the famous spiral shape 3. The milky way has a black hole at the center, and is the only galaxy discovered so far where this is true 4. There are over 780,000 stars, which although is a low number for a galaxy, it's the most accurate star count for a galaxy that exists\ 5. The milky way galaxy is so famous that there's even a candy bar named after it!................................................................................................................. Well now that we have completed the astronomy lesson, lets get down to answering the question as stated about Milky Way Candy Bars, shall we? 1) 1923 introduced the original Milky Way candy bar. 2) 1926 there was a vanilla nougat version called Vanilla Milky Way. 3) 1989 saw the introduction of Milky way Dark having Dark chocolate 4) whose name was later changed to Milky Way Midnight in 2000. 5) the light version was introduced in 1994 called Milky Way Lite.
They are both spiral galaxies. However, The Milky Way is a barred spiral galaxy (SBbc), whereas the Whirlpool Galaxy is a spiral galaxy without the bar (SAbc). See related links for a pictorial representation of the two types.
The Milky Way galaxy is 100,000 light years across and 1,000 light years thick. But the really fun part is that the Milky Way is all around us. We are right inside the Milky Way; it is our home galaxy. The Milky Way is not far away from you; you are a part of it.
Because we have never traveled outside of our galaxy in order to look back at it and take a picture of it. It will be a long time, if ever, before we ever have an actual picture of our galaxy seeing as we are about 23 light years away from the edge of the galaxy. If we left today and traveled 35,000 mph (the rate of the fastest object ever made by man, the Voyager probe) to the edge of the Milky Way galaxy, it would take around 456,400 years. So I wouldn't count on seeing a picture of our galaxy in our lifetime.
