I suppose you mean the Andromeda Galaxy, M31. It is at an estimated distance of 2.5 million light-years. The "far side" is irrelevant: the diameter of the Andromeda Galaxy is much less than the probable error in the above figure.
The Andromeda galaxy is about 2.2 million light years from earth. Add another 0.1 million for the farside. So that's about 2.3 million light years distance.
