usually when Hindu people meet each other they greet with namaste. When the meet someone older in age they touch their feet & ask for blessings.
Buddhism practically originated from Hinduism.thus they are similar in very manners, Reincarnation (punarjanma) & The Law of Cause and Effect (karma) etc.
