You'll never get a second chance to make a good first impression.
Charles Jackson Smith, Sr. 1960
The old saying goes that you never get a second chance to make a first impression, so make sure that when you meet your date, to be honest and in good spirits. Even if you have had a bad day at your job, that is no reason to take it out on this new person you just met. The happier you are, the happier you are surely going to make them, which means that the date has a better chance to go well.
A first impression is how anything is judged the very first time it is seen. Once that impression is given, it can never be taken back, so it is always important to make the very first impression the best one.
first impression is never the last one 'coz people change, times change and trends change e.g. you are a new worker you make a lot of mistakes and over time you become an epert and even your collegues began to accept you as one even though they might remember you blunders. The correct expression is " A first impression is a lastING impression ." If it's a really bad first impression , it may be the last chance with that person, or you may have to work hard to overcome a bad first impression.
she never taught about having a second chance
A first impression when meeting another person is your hygiene, how you dress and your personality. This makes up your character and one should never try to be anyone else, but themselves. When you have a first impression it should be good enough where that person knows they can trust you.
A first impression is your first thoughts about someone. For example if you saw someone how was dirty and smelly and rude to you your first impression of them is that they are not that kind and not much of a person you want to know. You never get a first impression again, so if that smelly, dirty person got clean and wanted to be friends with you, you would still think back to the rude person who used to smell. Your first impression therefore is your last impression. Another word for impression would be register- if something registers with you, it means you have noticed it and will probably remember it later.
never have the first impression as the last impression. .. kate was made a decision of not to date guys after the first guy she dated....so she thought all guys were like that.. just by judging her first boyfriend.. if she never had the guts to date the new guy, then she would hv never dated anyone ever again
He never gave up, he kept following his deams. When he didn't get the chance the first time he always gave himself a second try. And he is a talented person.
No easy answers to this question. Meeting people on-line dangerous. Especially when emotions are involved. There will never be a replacement for meeting someone face to face. It was well said when they wrote that "You never get a second chance to make a first impression". It is way to easy to hide youself behind a computer keyboard. Meeting, talking, listening, getting to really know each other, your likes and dislikes, these are the keys to emotional connections.
It depends on Andrew Lloyd Webber's current play Love Never Dies. If this play is a huge success, then there is a strong chance there will be a second movie of the Phantom of the Opera.
