There are many types of rheumatism with which there is some varying treatments available but no direct "cure" per say but many ways to prevent "flare-ups" or further deterioration as well as ways to promote good health.

As a personal suggestion - a usual treatment would be a type of pain killer that unfortunately becomes an addiction so if you can stay away from that medication depending on your severity diet, herbal remedies, and over all taking care of your health would be the safest and good for you way to go.
