What mediums where threatened by the introduction of tv?

The film industry may have been threatened but in fact, television was considered a fad when it was first invented so I can't imagine they actually felt or ever were actually threatened by it and obviously film is a thriving medium today vastly surpassing television in revenue.

The newspaper industry may have also felt threatened once people could get their daily news in their homes instead of buying papers but obviously they are still around today (for the most part), their industry didn't become truly threatened until the advent of 24 hour news channels and the access of instant news on the internet.
