The Intolerable acts, created in respince to the Bloston Tea Party
The Intolerable Acts were a wake up call for the colonies. The acts included the closing of Boston harbor and the take over of all governmental activities by England. Many in the other colonies rallied around Boston, because they feared they may be the next to feel the wrath of England.

The intolerable acts closed the prot of Boston, alllowed Britain to house troops anywhere, and allowed Britain to conquer even mor of the Americas.
The colonists called the Coercive Acts the "Intolerable Acts" because they viewed the laws as oppressive and unfair. The acts were seen as a violation of their rights and liberties, including the closing of the port of Boston and the imposition of martial law. The colonists believed that these acts were intolerable and not to be accepted.
