There's probably more than this, but two of God's prophets immediately come to mind: Elijah and Jonah.

"...The sun beat down on his head until he grew faint and WISHED TO DIE. 'Death is certainly better than this! ' he exclaimed.' Then God said to Jonah, 'Is it right for you to be angry because the plant died?' 'Yes,' Johah retorted, 'even ANGRY ENOUGH TO DIE! '" (verses 8-9)

Why did they create The Bible?
God had the bible written to educate us. In his infinite wisdom, he knew that men would want to know our origin, why we grow old ( despite the fact that our bodies continually restores itself), why we die, where we go when we die, what state were in when we die, etc. He also knew that "wise" men ( and that term is used loosely) would come up with all sorts of philosophies ( 2 Timothy 3:15,16). The bible was also created to set those things straight. He also created the bible so that we could have a rlationship with him.
