To move a sprite up and down in Scratch, you can change its y-coordinate by using the "change y by" block in the motion category. Increase the value to move the sprite up, and decrease it to move the sprite down. Alternatively, you can set the sprite's y-coordinate directly using the "go to x: y:" block.
it will only move if you have pokemon black or pokemon white.

Well, first of all, you could load an animated GIF file as a sprite, which will retain the animation. To animate inside of GameMaker, open up a new sprite. Click Edit Sprite. Click the little pen, and draw the first frame. Click the green tick. Then go into the menu "Edit", and click on "Add Empty". Click the little pen, and draw the next frame. Click the green tick. You can move the frames around in the animation by clicking on it and using the little blue arrows in the toolbar.
Boot menu allows you to choose programs/operating systems/program blocks to load. For instance, if you have two operating systems on your computer (not applicable for virtual machines) the boot menu allows you to choose OS to work with.
