lots of different kinds! There is over 400 different kinds of reproducing single cell and multi cell organisms.one of this wonderful organisms is called the amebia. ( sorry don't have correct spelling right on!)
Hope you enjoy my information i will post more soon! :P
The source of the microscopic animalcules described by Leuwenhoek was pond water. All these small organisms were single celled organisms.
This water is a mixture.
Pond water is often still because there is no current bringing more water into the pond. A pond that relies on rain water will be still most of the time. A pond that is spring fed might have a small current.
pond water
pond water
seaweed
A dissecting microscope - this is used for larger organisms.
No. Seaweed is actually good for a pond, but pond scum (most of the time) isn't
I would assume a pond because it does not move, allowing more organisms to be able to survive in the water.
yes, there are living organisms first known as animalcules.
During the microscopic observation of a single drop of stagnant pond water, one thing you would see to distinguish viable organisms from nonviable suspended debris is that viable organisms will be moving around. Also, most of them will have intracellular organelles.
a pond can be man-made or natural... a pond is usually used for animals, fishing, or just there for looks. a pond Is a Microscopic version of a Lake, and a Lake is a Microscopic version of an ocean. there is around 70% water on this earth and around 30% land. a Pond usually has Fresh Water in it... while the Ocean has Salt Water. a Pond Is Usually Decently Shallow... While the Ocean is definitely not Shallow. these are just a few examples.
