If the vehicle will stall and will not restart or appears to be out of fuel but the fuel gauge reads above empty, replace the fuel sensor assembly and auxiliary tank fuel level sensor if equipped. if not, replace the instrument cluster.

There are a few things that could cause an 87 Chevy Astro to idle high when it is started and warmed up. It could be a bad fuse, a leak in the vacuum, or an issue with the throttle.
That would probably cause it to run lean.
most likely cause is your heater core leaking
i have a 95 Chevy astro van.what would cause the all wheel drive to work sometimes but not all the time?
It can be eithier plug wires crossed or burned valves. Have it checked out.
Tires are out of balance ( maybe ) A bad u-joint in the driveshaft will cause it too. Check these things.
It will cause both vibration and a knocking noise The vibration may feel like it is at the rear of of the SUV but be careful to have the drive shaft checked.
No.
The fuel sending unit is the most likely cause. The wiring to the unit can go bad or the unit itself fails.
