If red blood cells in your body did not function properly it would eventually cause your death because as you know red blood cells carry haemoglobin ( which is oxygen ) , these red blood cells carry haemoglobin around your body and to your heart so if your heart no longer gets oxygen your heart will stop functioning and you will die .

White blood cells are a necessary part of the body's immune system, so if they do not function properly, the body is not defended against infectious disease, or cancer, and will very likely get sick and die.

Red blood cells carry hemoglobin, an iron-rich protein that attaches to oxygen in the lungs and carries it to tissues throughout the body. Anemia occurs when you do not have enough red blood cells or when your red blood cells do not function properly. It is diagnosed when ablood test shows a hemoglobin value of less than 13.5 gm/dl in a man or less than 12.0 gm/dl in a woman. Normal values for children vary with age.

What will happen if a person suffers of lack of red blood cell?

In a shortage of red blood cells the person suffers from anemia and, ultimately, does not produce as much ATP as a normal person, so general fatigue is a common symptom here. No red blood cells? There would be no such person as red blood cells carry oxygen to all cells that need to preform oxidative phosphorylation; cellular respiration and gas exchange.
