they use cheaper, but efficient and highly numbered amounts of manpower and equipment. the red air-force never excelled due to Stalin's doubts and strict implications on air technology. this meant that Tanks were the spearhead of soviet counter-attacks. because of the more advanced technology that the Germans used, the Russians just rushed the Germans with millions of Men, and thousands upon thousands of tanks. these tanks included the t-34 tank. the first main battle tank of the red army (very well known as the most effective tank on the battlefront in the whole of ww2)

the main strategy of the red army was to always have more equipment than the enemy could destroy, and swarm the enemy, commonly flanking their targets.

Is this true the national military strategy of the unite states today includes three principal elements deterrence inflexible response and forward strategy?

To the extent that one can argue that the United States has a coherent military strategy at all, yes, that sounds about right. No. Those are not the three principals of the National Military Strategy. According to the Chairman of the Joint Chiefs of Staff in his briefing to the Joint Chiefs, The National Military Strategy of the United States of America: A Strategy for Today, A Vision for Tomorrow, the NMS (National Military Strategy) supports the National Security Strategy (NSS) and implements the National Defense Strategy (NDS). The NMS is, basically; to protect the United States against external attacks and aggression; prevent conflict and surprise attack; and prevail against adversaries.
