Military tactics are defined as strategies of organizing the army, ways of using the weapons in the best possible course and to optimize the use of military units in order to be successful in a battle. Military tactics also involve maintenance of equipment and daily training of military units.
War is a term that applies to military conflict between two or more countries which transpire over months or years. Battle is a term that applies to a localized military conflict between two enemy armies or smaller military units that occur on 1 or more days.
Midway Atoll was a US base that provided aerial surveillance and advance notice of Japanese naval threats approaching the main islands of Hawaii from the west-northwest. It was large enough to house a small-to-moderate sized air & naval forces. It was primarily a defensive base for the US, with only minimal capability to help with US offensive operations in the central Pacific in the direction of Japan. To the Japanese, the atoll if seized could have possibly helped Japan conduct offensive operations into the Hawaiian Islands. However, if the Japanese had seized the atoll in June 1942 during the Battle of Midway, then it is doubtful that Japan could have successfully held the island more than one or two months against the strength of US naval, ground & air forces stationed in nearby Hawaii. Midway was too far away from other Japanese bases to get air support or allow Japanese naval units to linger for defense of the atoll. In the end, Midway's main benefit to the US was to draw the Japanese aircraft carriers into a foolhardy, fateful & pivotal battle that led to a devastating Japanese defeat.
Shotguns play a limited role in the military of Japan, primarily used for specific purposes such as close-quarters combat, riot control, and training. Due to Japan's strict gun laws and the focus on defense rather than aggressive military expansion, shotguns are not a central component of the Japanese Self-Defense Forces' arsenal. Instead, their use is largely confined to specialized units where versatility and close-range effectiveness are required. Overall, the role of shotguns is more supportive than fundamental in Japan's military operations.
The Battle of Stalingrad involved key military units from both the Axis and Soviet forces. The German 6th Army, commanded by General Friedrich Paulus, was the primary Axis force, supported by units from the Luftwaffe and allied Romanian, Hungarian, and Italian troops. On the Soviet side, the Red Army's 62nd Army, led by General Vasily Chuikov, played a critical role, along with the 64th Army and various other units, including the 1st Guards Army, which were instrumental in encircling and defeating the Germans in early 1943.
Romania had surrendered to the Russians in August of 1944, and joined the Allies in September that same year. The Battle of the Bulge began December 16, so there would not be any organized Romanian military units at the Bulge fighting with the Germans. It is also unlikely that the Allied armies contained any Romanian units as their army was not that large and had suffered tremendous losses fighting the Russians. What remained would continue to fight in the east against their former German handlers.

During the Battle of the Bulge, several African American units played crucial roles, including the 761st Tank Battalion, the 392nd Infantry Regiment, and elements of the 505th Parachute Infantry Regiment. The 761st, known as the "Black Panthers," was particularly notable for its bravery and effectiveness in combat. Despite facing significant racial prejudice, these units contributed significantly to the Allied efforts during this critical battle. Their performance helped challenge existing stereotypes and paved the way for desegregation in the U.S. military.
The Calvary (horse mounted units) would wear spurs.
