The spanish make a big mistake by sailing to close to the English army which was in Plymouth so had to sail away. Before the Spanish armada could turn back the English army was right on there tail right behind them and the wind was in the wrong direction to turn back so had to continue sailing ahead but the English army kept following them and wouldn't stop so the Spanish Armada couldn't pick up the Spanish army. They sailed and sailed up north until the English had stop chasing them and then the Spanish came across a very huge storm and half the Armada survived and the other half died. The remaning saillors of the Armada sailed back home to Spain.
um that's not right they did try and pick up the other soilders but they wern't ready also much less than half survived
The Armada made many mistakes in their battle against England. If some of there mistakes weren't made, it might have been a different story. For example, the two ports that the Spanish were going to pick up their Dutch soldiers in were both English-controlled. A sailorhad failed to mention to the Spanish commander that those two ports were English-controlled. As a result of this, the English, under cover of darkness, sent fire ships into the middle of the Armada's formation. By the time the sun rose, the ships were scattered about rather in fighting formation. The English were able to pick them off one by one. The Armada also made a big mistake by making all of there ships themselves. They made huge galleons but they had terrible steering and control. Because of this, they had very hard time controlling the ships in calm conditions not to mention a storm. They thought the bigger the ships were better, unfortunately that was not the case. Another mistake that the Spanish made was that they cut the ropes of the anchors. Due to the terrible storm in the English channel the Admiral said to drop anchor to stay in formation but the English then sent out fire ships. In panic the Spanish tried to pull the anchors up but they were too slow. The Spanish then cut the ropes. As a result they broke formation and the fire ships and storm basically destroyed the entire fleet.
Sir Francis Drake had already attached Cadiz and destroyed some of the Spanish Ships in 1587. Food rotted on the Spanish ships, it was contained in new barrels which were still damp. The collection of Spanish soldiers from the Spanish Netherlands failed to materialise. The Spanish Admiral chosen to manage the fleet died, the second nomination had never been to sea and failed to understand naval requirements. The European weather was so bad that many of the Spanish ships were severely damaged or sunk
Phillip of Spain decided to put his naval commander a man who suffers from seasickness and he had not updated his ships in years unlike Elizabeth.
That's all I know
LOL
they lit up far too many cigars on their ships
They didn't form as too there formations they 'planned'
eliminate Queen Elizabeth I and make England a Catholic country.
The Spanish Armada was a fleet of 130 ships that sailed from A Coruña in August 1588 as an escort to troops from Flanders for a planned invasion England to depose Queen Elizabeth and prevent English interference in the Spanish Netherlands and (hopefully) predation by English privateers. Unfortunately for the Armada, bad choices by leaders, aggressive, effective attacks by the British and Dutch, bad weather, and general bad fortune prevented them from ever linking up with the army they were to escort and more than a third of the fleet was destroyed before they could make it back to Spain.

Mary Queen of Scots had just been executed by Queen Elizabeth 1st and when the news got to Phillip, King of Spain, he was very angry so he set up the Spanish Armada to defeat England and make their lives hell!! This was written by a Year 7 student!! (FYI)
Yes, King Philip II of Spain was appalled when he heard Elizabeth had beheaded Mary Queen Of Scots, a Catholic Queen. And so decided she was to be removed from the throne and disposed of accordingly. This is why the Armada set sail for England.
In 1588 he took out the entire spanish armada. Intreasting fact: he took out the entire armada with 1 ship. How? He set it on fire with no one on board and drove it right into the ships setting fire to one spreading to another and so on.
to make England a Catholic country

having oral with your mom.
In 1588, the King of Spain sent an enormous fleet to transport Spanish soldiers to the Netherlands. The Netherlands were the property of Spain, but the people had rebelled against the Spanish King. England was determined to prevent this invasion and met the Spanish fleet in the English channel with English warships. This was the Battle of the Spanish Armada. They broke up the Spanish fleet and sent it fleeing up the channel north, around Scotland and then individual ships finally sailed south back to Spain. Most Spanish ships did not make this journey and crashed on the west of England. There was great loss of life and a great victory for the commander Lord Hawke and Queen Elizabeth I.

They make you feel upset, but mistakes are mistakes.

We make mistakes when we are in a hurry.
Translation: we used to commit Note: The verb "cometer" is often used in the expression "cometer errores" which means "to make mistakes", so "cometíamos errores" would be "we used to make mistakes".
You make mistakes because you are human, not the other way around.
