If you want the engine to last then you should always use A/C Delco oil filter. If it wasn't a good filter GM would not have used them. RIGHT

It is inside of the fuel tank.
In 2004 Chevy removed the fuel filter from inside of the frame rail and put it in the fuel tank.
That is a 4L60E / 4L65E
5 Qts. with a new filter.
6QTS. with a new filter.
It is inside of the fuel tank.
GM. moved the fuel filter to inside the gas tank in 2004
4.3L, engine, Purolator Classic L10111.4.8L or the 5.3L engine, Purolator Classic L25288.
In 2004 Chevy moved the fuel filter from the drivers side frame and started putting them inside of the fuel tank.
In 2005 Chevy started putting the fuel filter inside of the fuel tank. You will have to remove the fuel tank to service it.
The 2004 Chevrolet Silverado 1500 do not come with a cabin air filter. GM stopped putting them in around 2003 and newer.
