NO the computer system on those 2 years are different ( Transmissions ) Won't interchange.
NO it will not. The 96 and 97 year transmissions are DIFFERENT then 1992--1995 and then from 1998 to 1999. If it is a 1996 are 1997 year then The ONLY ones that will interchange is a 96 and 97 no other ones will fit those 2 years.
I have a 1993 Chevy S-10 Pick up truck, with a 2.5 V6 motor and 5 speed manual transmission.. I need to know what years will interchange with the transmission
95&97 s-10 blazers and s-10 pickups.
As there are thousands of parts all with different interchange possibilities I am going to recommend you call a local auto recycler and ask them to cross a individual part when you need to know.
First place, 2-wheel drive and 4-wheel drive transmissions will NOT interchange they are different. There is only 2 years that will work in the 96 and that is a 96 and 97 4L60E 4-wheel drive transmission.
That would require an estimated 30,000 word answer. I recommend you call your local pick and pull wrecker and ask them what will fit your car, they are friendly and have a great interchange system
The Chevrolet Imapla has been produced for many years. Early models had standard manual and automatic transmissions. Current models are also fitted with ABS and ESP systems.
The only 2 years that will FIT RIGHT is a 1996 and 1997. 2-wheel and 4-wheel drive transmissions will NOT interchange.
I doubt that Rolls Royce ever used a Chrysler built engine but I know they used custom built automatic transmissions based on the Chrysler 727. And no the parts don't interchange.
Transmissions on the grand am the Malibu and the Sun fire 2003-2004 models are all the same fit years before were all the same but they will not fit in the 2003-2004 models and you have to match the engines liters
I believe you would have to change the tailpiece on the transmission so you can bolt your transfer case to it , and that 1991 to 1994 A4LD automatic transmissions on the Ford Explorer will interchange
