What breyer rugs fit Traditional breyer model Polaris?

Very few blankets/rugs fit Breyers. They do fit larger models like O'Leary's Irish Diamond. I was shocked to discover that the blankets fit the Standardbred Peter Stone mold!

How can you make your real pony a Breyer horse?

First, you can buy one from someone that makes CMs (Custom Made Breyers).Or, you can purchase a Breyer that looks (shape and position wise) like your horse or pony. Then you can buy pastels or acrylic paint, and some good brushes (not large ones!) and start painting! You can also use a very small and sharp etching knife, and etch a little paint off for a blaze or star.A third option is to buy a blank mold and start painting it with the paints mentioned above.

What are breyer horses made from?

Breyer horses are model horses, normally made out of a combination of plastic and resin. Because of the material used to make them, they are extremely fragile.Breyer has been producing model horses since 1950, so 60 years! Each model is hand carved and hand painted (although there are some rumors that they are switching to machine painted). Because of the extreme realism in their carving (also known as their "mold" to hobbyists), and the quality of their painting, Breyers normally sell for around $50.Breyers, along with mostly any brand of model horse, can be entered in Model Horse Shows; which seperates the Non LSQ (Live Show Quality) models, from the top model horses in the country.See the related links section below to go to Breyer's website, to learn more about the fascinating world of model horses!A collection of horses which are fragile.

How can you find out why your horse coughs she is in pasture?

If you witness your horse coughing repeatedly in her pasture you can record what is happening with a camera or phone and send it to your equine vet. The vet can then come out and examine the horse and determine what is causing it. Likely it is mold or pollen, but it could be other issues and the way you keep or manage your horse will have to be changed.

How big are the breyer traditionals?

It depends on the mold [mould in britan] the height of a traditionals from hoof to ear are about from your elbow to your wrist. Traditionals also need special tack. DO NOT USE CLASSIC TACK! [thats how my favorite saddle broke :(] When you are buying tack look at some reveiws and take time. There are many diffrent Beautiful and realistic Tradtional horses. You will find most of them on bases but there are many for play. Try looking on www.craigslist.com for some breyer horses just search Breyer and there should be a few of many diffrent kinds. you may even find retired or limited edition [ like i did for only 10 bucks!] on craigslist they have cheaper breyers than any store. Have fun collecting Traditionals! LET THE COLLECTING BEGIN!!!! Scensirly, Golden Pine Stables Manager [home of the best breyer horses!] And the SSSMH [thing i made up]

Can you feed a horse wet hay?

Yes, you can feed a horse wet hay as long as the hay is completely free of mold and/or maggots. Feeding a horse moldy hay can cause colic, and be fatal. Make sure all hay left out is covered with a tarp, and even check that hay. Runninghorse
