The more hp a monster has the more exp you get. every 1 damage gets you 4 exp, so the answer is technically, a rat, spider, or that lvl 702 monster whose name is possibally Kalphite Queen. They kill you REALLY fast though...

well the one that gives more experience is the corporeal beast because it has 2000 hitpoints but if you want the one who gives more xp may vary on your lvl for me the best one are bandits in members and in free are big Spiders

Another reply: You don't get a certain amount of experience for killing a monster. Rather, you get a little experience every time you cause damage to a monster. In the case of magic attacks, you also get a certain amount of magic experience every time you cast a certain spell - and then you get experience separately, for the damage inflicted.

Therefore, I would suggest you simply attack monsters that are appropriate for your level. Don't attack monsters at too high a level, because that will cost you too much food. Don't attack monsters that are too low, because (1) if their level is less than half your level, they are not aggresive - thus, you will lose some time, and (2) you also waste some time when the monster is almost dead. For example, if the monster has only one hitpoint left, you can't inflict more than one point damage, even if you would normally inflict, say, 10 or 20 points of damage.

You should also use the best armour and weapons which you can handle. In the case of magic, use the most powerful spells; in the case of ranged, use the most powerful arrows.

And don't forget the combat triangle! If you attack with magic, you have a certain advantage over melee monsters (or players); melee has an advantage over ranged; ranged has an advantage over magic.

Chickens

Another reply: You get experience for the amount of damage dealt. Pick a monster at an appropriate level. If the monster level is too low, you waste time. A chicken can be appropriate for a beginner; but if you have a high combat level, well, you can't deal a chicken more damage than its total health points. If the monster level is too high, you need a lot of food. Also, use the best armour and weapons you can afford. Also consider the combat triangle, which can give you some additional advantage: ranged combat works best against magic, magic works best against melee, and melee works best against ranged.

A better Reply: Down on the 2nd level of the Stronghold Of Security there are Crawlers kill them for a high Strength level

You get experience in combat-related skills for the damage you do, so it doesn't much matter if the monster is a high or a low level. Take the combat triangle into account - for example, if you attack with magic, you have an advantage over creatures that attack with melee. Also, it is best to attack creatures that have a little more than half your combat level - those are usually aggresive, meaning that as soon as you kill one creature, the next one will start attacking you. On the other hand, if the monster's level is too high, you need a lot of food.
