1-4-2-5-3-6 This is not correct....the firing order given here is for a 6-cylinder motor..... firing order for the 1997 Ford Explorer & Mercury Mountaineer (the only vehicles in 1997 with the 302 - 5.0) is same as the 351 motor; 1-3-7-2-6-5-4-8
