Stock these cars came with the non turbo 4G63 and a turbo version of the same motor. They also came equipped with a 4G37, which is a 1.8L motor that is smaller, more fuel efficient and less powerful than either of the 4G63 variants. Technically, any of these motors could fit, depending on installing the matching mounting, trans, and engine manager to make the car go.
Not without modification
you have to remove the trans and flywheel.
if it has no spark and no gas its your cam angle sensor
synchros are pooched
It's probably stalling, get your car looked at by a professional.
remove the 2 bolts on the neck that the upper hose goes to.
under the center of the dash there is two bolts that hold it up.
They might work considering that the 90-93 Eagle Talon, 90-93 Eclipse, and the 90-93 Lazer are made so much alike...My friend has a book and everything that we looked at in the book was for the Talon, Eclipse, and Lazer so if I'm right, it should work.
Mitsubishi eclipse and Eagle Talon of the same year.
From all the research I have done on the Talon I would say it should match up perfect. the 1990-1994 models are all the same. Your best bet would be to get the part, test fit it, and then install it.
When your looking at the motor it will be the first one next to the pulleys.
you can get it from the top on the trans side. 2 bolts and 2 wires. its a little tight but it will come out.
