The Aorta is the main artery coming out of the heart's left ventricle and allows blood to travel to all the body tissues except the lungs.
The right side of the heart (right atrium and right ventricle) receives blood low on O2.
It's all the blood flow EXCEPT the pulmonary circulation (that is: the right side of the heart and the lungs). Its function is to supply blood to all the tissues of the body.
Veins and arteries distribute blood throughout the body. The blood circulates through the heart and back to the body continuously.
It is a vein.
Arteries are blood vessels that carry oxygenated blood in the lungs to the tissues of the body.Veins are blood vessels that carry deoxygenated blood (venous blood) filled with waste products from the body tissues to the heart and lungs.
They pump blood from the heart into the lungs or all the other tissues of the body.
