Visible light moves through vacuum, and it also moves through anything that is gas, liquid or solid as long as what it moves through is not opaque. It has to be tansparent or translucent in order for light to move through it and be visible in some form on the other side.
A particle & a wave
The amount of light needed increases as one moves to higher magnification with the microscope. This is usually done by opening the light diaphragm.

Light is bluer as it moves farther is because blue travels faster than the other colors in the visible spectrum.
It means the speed at which light moves. While it may seem that light advances instantaneously, in fact it does not - it moves at a speed of 300,000 kilometers per second. That's the speed in a vacuum; in other substances, it moves slower. For example, in glass or water it moves at about 2/3 of the speed it has in a vacuum.
Light. Nothing moves faster than light
A shadow is always at the direct opposite side of the light source, so as the light moves the shadow moves.
Light reflects or bendsbecause it moves into different mediums
either the light source moves, or the object casting the shadow moves, or the surface that the shadow is projected against moves.
