I too love Horror films. One of my favorites is an older film called "Premature Burial" from the fifties. Also, any of the films with Vincent Price in them like "The Pit and The Pendulum". The newer movies tend ot rely more on special effects so I really like the oldies but goodies.

As long as the child understands that it is only a movie, and not real. Then no, I do not think they are a bad influence to kids. I grew up watching horror movies, and now they are one of my passions. I am a horror artist.
